About

I am a neurologist who specializes in diagnosing and treating patients with dementia and other cognitive disorders at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. My patients can trust that I will provide the most accurate diagnosis possible and offer thorough, understandable explanations about what is going on in their brain. The access to resources and the exceptional talent here at Ohio State means we have the potential to significantly improve the lives of so many people, especially underserved populations, and I am proud to be part of it. My role includes serving as director of the Department of Neurology's Telecog Rural Outreach Clinic, which expands access to quality care via telemedicine. I am also co-director of the Young Onset Dementia Multidisciplinary Clinic. I became a neurologist because I am fascinated by the brain and all its complexities, including the diseases that impact it. I have encountered many challenging cases in my career, which inspired me to continue in academic medicine and pursue research efforts. In addition to my work with patient outreach and telehealth, I am also involved in multiple clinical trials focused on treatments for Alzheimer's disease. In addition to my clinical and research responsibilities, I help train the next generation of physicians. I am a clinical assistant professor of Neurology and I instruct medical students who rotate with me. I also oversee an elective rotation in Cognitive Neurology for residents. Outside of work, I love spending time outside with my wife and daughter. I enjoy listening to audiobooks and podcasts.
