About
Sara Schroder, MD, is a staff physician in the Section of Primary Care Pediatrics at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She provides direct patient care at the Nationwide Children's Hospital Olentangy and Linden Primary Care Centers and covers at all of the other Primary Care Centers. She also precepts medical students in the clinical setting. In addition to her clinical work, she works with medical students at The Ohio State University. She teaches a two-year longitudinal course for first and second year medical students that covers important topics such as physical exam skills, patient interviewing skills, ethics, and professionalism. She also serves as a Portfolio Coach. In this role, she provides coaching to a group of students throughout their entire four years of medical school, helping them to develop both professionally and personally, and to realize their career goals. Dr. Schroder’s clinical interests include preventive care, breastfeeding, and teaching medial students and residents.
